HTC U 11 leaks again in a rendered video hinting details with respect to the exterior design and details.
HTC has announced the release date of its next smartphone to be May 16, 2017. The news is causing a stir as the video posted by HTC hints at the phone having a squeezable frame.
HTC in it's Twitter handle wrote: "Squeeze for the Brilliant U", which basically affirms that the next-generation smartphone will be released under the "U" series of smartphone implying that the HTC U will have a pressure-sensitive edge, which can be activated by squeezing.
HTC has announced that its next flagship phone, which is likely to be called just HTC U, will be officially unveiled on May 16.
HTC U with fancy Edge Gesture Tech is set to compete with Samsung S8 and LG G6.
HTC U is expected to feature 5.5" WQHD display with 2560x1440 pixel, 12-megapixel rear camera, 16-megapixel front camera, powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 processor, and microSD card slot.
The new HTC flagship will be unveiled in mid to late April, and it should hit global markets in early May.
HTC is tipped to be plannig the HTC 11 with Snapdragon 835, 6GB RAM, dual-camera and 3,000mAh battery.
HTC's upcoming flagship device is slated to come with the groundbreaking "Edge Sensors".
HTC U "Ocean" is ready to launch by the end of April. The phone is reported to feature the new sense touch technology on the device's metal frame and not the screen.
