Android 7.1.2 Nougat update has been rolled out for selected Pixel and Nexus devices, which haw now reportedly fixed the "shutdown bug."
Google has started rolling out Android 7.1.2 Nougat update and April Android Security Patch to Pixel and Nexus Smartphones. The new version will bring several bug fixes, overall improvements, and additional features to gadgets.
Android 7.1.2 is now available for select Nexus devices, as well as Google's Pixel series.
Android 7.1.2 update starts rolling out for Google Pixel devices. These include several Pixel XL, Google Pixel phones and more. Users can either update it manually or wait for the update to arrive to their devices.
Google is expected to roll out Android 7.1.2 Nougat public update for Pixel and Nexus devices as early as April 3.
This is not an April Fools' Joke. The Android 7.1.2 Nougat could finally be received by all Android users this April 3, around six weeks after the initial release of the beta build for some Nexus and Pixel phones.
Google is going to come up with the public release of Android 7.1.2 Nougat beta version on April 3.
