A parental control app deployed in South Korea has been found to contain 26 security vulnerabilities. The researchers who spotted these security flaws have since reached out to the South Korean telecom association, and was told that patches have been rolled out.
Anti Virus Guard Technologies, better known as "AVG," proudly announced that it hit 200 million users. However, the company now reveals that they actually gather user data and use them for advertising and income-generation purposes. They express the details in their new Privacy Policy.
