Letv Le Max Pro is the first Smartphone that includes the Snapdragon 820 chip, the most cutting-edge mobile processor launched in November 2015 by Chipmaker Qualcomm Technologies. LeTv or Leshi Internet Information & Technology, China’s leading entertainment company that will manufacture this smartphone, is expected to have the Le Max Pro available in the first half of 2016, according to a report at Qualcomm.com.

Reports in the last quarter of 2015 provide a hint on how this recent technology will shape the future of mobile technology. CES pronounces that Snapdragon 820 is, “Designed to deliver outstanding overall user experience, Snapdragon 800 expands the possibilities of seamless connected computing.”

Really? How does this technology beat its predecessor?

With the phone running on a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820, which is considered the most powerful processor of 2015 and created with X12 LTE, it has the capacity to provide 3 times faster peak upload speed and also 33% faster peak download speeds—a breakthrough in LTE and Wi-Fi technologies. This feature also allows the new smartphone to support ultimate graphics, photography, power, as well as battery efficiency. The phone also features a 6.3-inch QHD screen, an Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 21MP rear camera, quick-charging battery and also a sense ID fingerprint sensor that is considered to provide more secure transactions than capacitive sensors. Qualcomm states that this fingerprint scanning system can obtain a unique print, right to the pores of the skin, even if the finger is sweaty or greasy.

Finally, the unbeatable chipset contains the new quad-core Kyro CPU, which is designed on 64-bit architecture, as well as runs on and uses the company's Symphony System Manager to "extend control of task scheduling and power management across the entire processor." Instead of adding to the number of cores, Qualcomm Technologies has gone from the octa-core setup to a quad-core setup with Snapdragon 820.
