Apple had announced the detraction on updates of MacBook Air back in August. The sales are still on giving rise to an intriguing competition to MacBook Pro.
MacBook Pro edges MacBook Air after the former was incorporated with one of the latest and eye-catching features, known as the Touch Bar. The name might not exaggerate a great deal about it, but residing just under the screen is the sensitive retina strip taking place of the function bar as mentioned in Trusted reviews.
The touch bar is loaded with high-end features and gives you access to tweak the volume and brightness. MacBook Pro has finally incorporated the much-awaited Touch ID. MacBook Air, on the other hand, has flaunted its durability alongside its cheaper price tag.
MacBook Air has also been subject to major design alterations, and the thick bezel and low resolution have somewhat subtracted the earlier charm. However, it offers 14 hours of battery life, the longest any MacBook has ever fared. MacBook Pro, on the other hand, has amazed with its trendy design.
MacBook Pro has made major changes in the transfer section as well. The two ThunderBolt 3 Ports have enhanced the transfer speed in multifold. The slim structure that weighs only 3-pound is also making headlines for its powerful graphics and over the top processor speed. MacBook Air has also revamped the processor speed with the 5th generation Core i5 as mentioned in Laptop Mag.
The MacBook Pro15-inchhas already crossed the $2,500 barrier and has garnered critical appreciation instead of flak. However, one cannot insert an SD card leaving any other option other than using a card reader. MacBook Air is also available in both 13 and 15-inch displays.
The pricing of MacBook Air has irked many as it has already aged and the outrageous price tag seems to be baffling. The Touch Bar in MacBook Pro might do the trick as it has the capability to sell itself.
