Developer Telltale Games hasn't yet officially announced the game. However, the first episode entitled A Hero in Residence was recently detailed on the Australian Rating Board with a given Parental Guidance rating.
According to Euro Gamer, the Australian Rating Board has shared an entry for "Minecraft Story Mode: Season 2." This illustrates that Telltale's episodic adventure game is to get another series, given the date of classification; the game's Season 2 might be announced at or around this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The given listing is for the first episode titled as "Hero in Residence" where players can expect mild fantasy themes and violence.
For all players who play fancy the first season before then, the upcoming debut episode is free. The series is also having a sale for the next couple of days with a complete package along with three bonus episodes included from the first season of "Minecraft: Story Mode."
It makes sense for "Minecraft Story Mode" to get a second season for a fact that the first was so successful in which developer Telltale added three extra episodes to what usually a five-episode run per season. The title is now being ported to the Nintendo Switch where it will include all eight episodes to be played on the go.
As noted by Trusted Reviews, Telltale Games has done it again with "Minecraft: Story Mode." Tech enthusiasts are still isn't sure how the developer managed to make an open world building game into such a fun and compelling story-based adventure but certainly has.
"Minecraft: Story Mode" was hugely successful, with developer Telltale adding three additional episodes on top of the five initially planned for the inaugural season, as mentioned earlier. There's a little more to come from Season One, however - Telltale's "Minecraft: Story Mode - The Complete Adventure" is one of the Nintendo Switch's upcoming third-party games.
