There have been numerous leaks and rumors pouring from all sides of the internet regarding Honor 9. The latest leak is coming from a user on Weibo, which reveals that the Huawei Honor 9 will sport a glass body with a metal frame.
Huawei's Honor is all set to release its flagship smartphone, Honor 9 on June 12 at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center in China. Now, latest leak has surfaced online which is focusing on the design aspect of the Huawei Honor 9.
According to the leaked details on Weibo, the device would be very different than its predecessor Honor 8, in terms of design. The glass at the rear side is said to be curved to some extent, as reported by GSM Arena.
According to the previous listing on TENAA, the Honor 9 is expected to feature the Kirin 960 chipset, which will be clocked at 2.4GHz. The rumored device is said to be available in two storage variants, 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB.
The camera setup on the rear side of Honor 9 is a combination of a 20MP and a 12MP sensor with laser autofocus and dual tone LED flash. The front side of the Honor 9 has an 8MP shooter. The battery on the Honor 9 might be 3,100mAh. Moreover, the smartphone is tipped to arrive with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
The screen in Honor 9 is tipped to have a 5.15-inch panel with 1080p resolution. There is no word from the Huawei as to whether these specs are the final specs or not. The front of device might feature a 2.5D curved glass on top whereas the back side might have a curvier 3D glass design, as reported by Gizchina.
