Asus, the Taiwanese tech giant might be ready to unveil a new smartphone. An unannounced smartphone from the company was spotted on the Chinese regulatory authority-TENAA. The listing revealed the exterior design of the phone along with the specifications and features that could be made available on the smartphone.
According to the TENAA listing, the Asus smartphone carrying a model number Asus X00KD is seen sporting a 5.0-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1,280 pixels. It could be powered by a 1.25 GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM. The device could arrive with 16GB/32GB of internal storage expandable up to 2TB.
The Asus X00KD is listed to be featuring a dual rear camera setup a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. In addition, a 5-megapixel front camera could be featured in the device. The device is also listed to be featuring a huge 4,020-mAh battery, gravity sensor, distance sensor, and light sensor.
The images of the Asus X00KD reveal that the back of the phone holds a dual camera set up with ASUS logo. The front face holds a physical home button with a fingerprint sensor embedded inside. In addition, the images reveal that it could arrive in mocha gold and black color versions.
According to Gizbot, the Asus X00KD is also listed to be having various connectivity options like the dual SIM, 4G-LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and a micro USB 2.0 port. The smartphone is has a dimension of 144.26 x 71.26 x 9.1 mm and weighs 160 grams.
The Asus smartphone appearing on TENAA does not reveal details on its pricing. The company has not confirmed any details on its leaked smartphone. However, the appearance on the certification site indicates that it could arrive into the tech market soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
