Samsung Galaxy Feel: 4 Things To Know Before Buying This Incredible Device

Korean tech giant, Samsung which recently launched the incredible Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones have also unveiled a new smartphone known as the Samsung Galaxy Feel in Japan. The device is carrying a model number SC-04J. Four things in this handset should be known before buying this incredible piece of device in its segment.

Design: BGR report cites that the Samsung Galaxy Feel has a bar shape design with a perfect metal casing all around. The front face of the smartphone carries a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a physical home button, ear speaker cut out, sensor and a front camera.  The back face appears to flaunt a glass finish and has a rear camera seated together with the LED flash and a Galaxy logo.

The Samsung Galaxy Feel right edge carries a power button, while the volume rocker is placed on the left.  The top edge has the SIM slot, while the 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port are on the bottom. Two small antenna bands are located on top and bottom of the smartphone. The device has a measurement of 138 x 67 x 8.3mm, weighs 149 grams and is IPX 5/8 rated for water resistance and IP 6X rated for dust resistance.

Hardware: The Samsung Galaxy Feel is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. According to Gadgets 360, the smartphone is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery. This battery is reported to have a standby time up to 170 hours and can be fully charged in 110 minutes. In addition, it comes with quick charging support.

OS and Camera: The Samsung Galaxy Feel will come with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system straight out of the box.  It has a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Connectivity and Colors: The Samsung Galaxy Feel includes various connectivity options such as the Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, and Bluetooth 4.2. In addition, it also features a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button. The device is up for pre-booking in Japan on NTT DoCoMo site in White, Pink, and Black color variants.

It is expected that Samsung Galaxy Feel smartphone will be released by mid of June. The company has not revealed any details on its price. Stay tuned for more updates.
