Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus have been officially launched today in China. The devices, which were continuously on the internet with rumors and leaks, have finally made their appearance on the Chinese e-commerce platform VMall.com.
The Android Soul cites that both the Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus smartphones are amazingly built with a metal body measuring only 6.9mm in thickness. The back of the phone holds a fingerprint scanner, dual camera set up with LED flash, antenna bands running edge-to-edge across the top and bottom and a company logo positioned at the bottom center. The right side has volume buttons and a power button. The bottom side can be seen with a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C charging port and a speaker grill.
Huawei Nova 2: This device sports a 5-inch full HD display with 1080 pixels resolution with 2.5D curved glass on the top. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 chipset coupled with Mali T830 GPU and a 4GB of RAM. The device is equipped with a 64GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The device comes with 2,950mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.1 on top. It also features a dual camera set up carrying the 12MP+8MP lens with LED flash, PDAF, and f/1.8 aperture and a 20MP front camera for selfies.
Huawei Nova 2 Plus: This device sports a 5.5-inch full HD with a 1080 pixels resolution and a 2.5D curved glass on the top. Under the hood, it is powered by the same octa-core Kirin 659 chipset coupled with Mali T830 GPU and a 4GB of RAM. It has a 128 GB internal storage expandable to an additional 128GB via microSD card.
The device comes with 3,340mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.1 on top. It also features a dual camera set up carrying the 12MP+8MP lens with LED flash, PDAF, and f/1.8 aperture and a 20MP front camera for selfies.
The Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus smartphones listed on the VMall.com are available in Grass Green, Rose Gold, Aurora Blue, Streamer Gold, and Obsidian black color variants. Both the smartphones offer 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C port.
The Chinese tech giant has attached a price tag of RMB 2,499 and RMB 2,899 to Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus respectively. Stay tuned for more update son availability in other regions.
