Lenovo-owned Motorola smartphone Moto Z2 Play has been spotted on the GFXBench website running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The device was recently certified by Chinese regulatory authority TENAA and it was spotted on the Geekbench yesterday. After the TENAA listing, the GFXBench listing also confirms many specifications and features that the device could arrive with into the tech market.
According to the GFXBench listing, the Moto Z2 Play sports a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,920 pixels by 1,080 pixels. Under the hood, the device could be powered by a Qualcomm (Cortex A53 - ARMv8) octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The processor could be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The Moto Z2 Play is listed to be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and a 12MP rear camera with autofocus, face detection, touch focus, and HDR photo features. This listing also signifies that the rear camera has been brought down from 16MP as seen in Moto Z Play smartphone. The other features included in the listing are the 5MP front camera, accelerometer, compass, GPS, Bluetooth, gyroscope, light sensor, NFC, pedometer, proximity, LTE, and Wi-Fi.
According to Android Headlines, the Moto Z2 Play spotted on the Geekbench also confirms few of the aspects that will be included such as the 4GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2.21 GHz. The device has reportedly scored 891 points on its single-core performance test and 4528 points on its multi-core performance.
As far as the TENAA certification is concerned, the Moto Z2 play was spotted bearing a model number XT1710-08, which is reported to be the internal designation of the smartphone. The device specifications found on the Chinese regulatory authority are same as that found on the GFXBench except for the battery.
The TENAA certification website reveals that the device could be equipped with 2,820mAh battery. In addition, the leaked image renders hints the entire exterior features that the smartphone could arrive. Lenovo has not confirmed any leaks on Moto Z2 Play smartphone yet. Stay tuned for more updates.
