Sony has released its all-new flagship called the Xperia XZ Premium at the MWC 2017 event a few months before. Also, the tech giant has recently unveiled a new color variant in the form of a Bronze Pink Sony Xperia XZ Premium.
At the announcement, Sony unveiled the XZ Premium in only two color variants - Deepsea Black and Luminous Chrome. The company also launched a Bronze Pink color variant of XZ Premium with the same specification and design in April.
However, the Bronze Pink variant is not available for purchase, as reported by GSM Arena. The latest report claims that the Sony Xperia XZ Premium in question (in red hue) is for the Japanese market and that the company will likely launch it for the international market as well.
It looks like all the smartphone vendors across the world are in a trend to re-launch a smartphone in different hues mid-cycle. Apple did it with the iPhone 7/7 Plus, OnePlus with the OnePlus 3T, Huawei is tipped to launch its flagship handset, the Mate 9 in Red and Blue hues and now Sony has also jumped on the bandwagon as well, according to The Android Soul.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a tremendous design, 5.5-inch 4K display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 3,230mAh battery, and IP68 water and dust resistance. The highlight of the device is its 19MP Motion Eye rear camera which is capable of recording slow motion videos at 960fps.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium is already up for pre-orders in select markets and will be launched in June. Sadly, the smartphone has an NTT DoCoMo's logo on its rear side, which means that it will be only available in Japan; at least initially. Red Xperia XZ Premium is expected to make its way to international market as well. Currently there is no information available for Red Xperia XZ Premium.
