Apple's WWDC 2017 is getting closer, which means apple fans will learn more details about iOS 11 and the next major macOS update. Many reports claim that new hardware will be revealed during the Apple keynote, including a brand new iPad Pro 2 model that will join the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch versions.
There are already a bunch of leaked images came out earlier this week that showed cases for the 10.5-inch iPad Pro. Since then, the same leaker (Benjamin Geskin) has posted a bunch of additional readers on Twitter which showcases what could be the final design of the upcoming iPad Pro 2.
From the looks, the rumored 10.5-inch iPad Pro is said to have the similar design as one can expect from the iPad. However, upcoming iPad Pro 2 model will have reduced side bezels and looks like the top and bottom bezels might also be smaller than those on the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch versions, as reported by BGR.
Overall, the iPad Pro 2 looks to be about 10.3 inches tall, 7.1 inches wide, and 0.25 inches thick. The 12.9-inch iPad pro is 12 inches tall, 8.68 inches wide, and 0.27 inches thick, with the 9.7-inch iPad Pro coming in at 9.4 inches tall, 6.6 inches wide, and 0.24 inches thick, according to Apple Insider. There is no sign of the smart connector for the iPad Pro 2; however, since the models provided to favored case manufacturers don't include home buttons, they likely don't include the Smart Connector either.
Apple might unveil new iPad Pro 2 as soon as its WWDC 2017 keynote on June 5. New expected features have been rumored outside of faster processors, even though the 10.5-inch product is said to have thinner bezels than its predecessors.
The home button in the upcoming iPad pro 2 is still in the picture, so don't be excited about an iPad Pro without a home button. That's going to be a signature feature of the iPhone 8 so it might be some time before we see Apple bring this design decision to the iPad line. The 10.5-inch iPad Pro is already in production, a report from China claims.
