Apple iPad Pro 2 is one of the much-anticipated tablets that is expected to be released this year. The render artist Benjamin Geskin has posted the latest renders for both the unannounced 10.5-inch Apple iPad Pro and a new unannounced 12.9-inch iPad Pro model. Geskin's renders reveal that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will not be bezel-free; however, the bezels will be reduced in size.
Benjamin Geskin has posted the iPad Pro 2 accessory images on Twitter. The latest image reveals cutouts for the Lightning port, speaker grilles, microphone, and vertically-aligned camera. According to the render images, the microphone cutout is placed on the top back side of both upcoming iPads, which is similar to its location on the newest 9.7-inch iPad. The current 12.9-inch models the microphone cutout is there on the right side of the iPad, which is above the volume buttons, Mac Rumors reported.
The iPad Pro 2 cases include multiple large cutouts for what appears to be four speakers, with two on top of the case and two on the bottom surrounding the Lightning port. On top of the case cutout for the lock button is also there, and the 3.5mm headphone jack will still be included on the 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros. The volume buttons remain on the traditional right side of the iPad cases, as reported by Value Walk.
The production of 10.5-inch iPad is reportedly increasing and the tablet is expected to launch in the upcoming WWDC. For the smaller-screened iPad mini, recent rumors have hinted that Apple might discontinue the tablets due to likely cannibalization from the 5.5-inch iPhone Plus devices. A little over a week ago, KGI securities Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has claimed that Apple would be releasing its new 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 at WWDC next month.
