Hundreds of video games are scheduled for release throughout 2017. The first game to release was “Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone” which came out on Jan. 10 for PlayStation 4. There are lot more scheduled for release in summer, but their developers and publishers have not pinpointed specific launch dates yet.
Among the future video game releases are big titles such as “Red Dead Redemption 2,” “Total War: Warhammer 2,” and “Star Wars: Battlefront 2,” according to VG247. Another much-anticipated game is “Friday the 13th: The Game” from Gun Media. Gamer Revolution reports that a release date was announced which made console players check the Xbox and PlayStation online stores to know where to buy the game.
But the search frustrated fans of the game because they found none. It turns out, the video game would not be available for pre-orders on PS4 or Xbox One, according to Gun Media’s tweet. Wes Keltner, head of Gun Media, explains that Sony/MS told them that they have to wait one more month to set up the pre-order which the developer believes is not fair to make fans of the game wait for one more month, according to Gamer Revolution.
What would be late are the codes of “Friday the 13th: The Game,” which means the video game could not be pre-loaded. It will instead be available both as a download and on console versions, through Kickstarter for those who pre-ordered it or via Backerkit. As a download, the game’s size is 3.5 gbs which would mean he download should finish quickly after gamers receive the code. On all platforms, the game will release on May 26.
PSU adds that Sony confirmed its complete lineup of video games for PS4 and PS Vita which would be released next week on PSN. These games would arrive on the PlayStation Store on May 23.
