The Taiwanese sources of the supply chain have reported an increase in orders linked with the new generation 10.5-inch iPad Pro. If latest reports and rumors are anything to by then there will be significant changes in the design of the upcoming iPad Pro 2 models.
According to DigiTimes, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro started mass production around March-April, with supply chains manufacturing around 500,000 models of the upcoming flagship tablet to date. The production gives way for the iPad Pro 2 is said to be considerably increased, however, with reports claiming that the volume of the device's shipment is said to raise around 600,000 units in July. By the end of this year, Apple expects to see shipments of up to five million 10.5-inch iPad Pro units.
Presentation 10.5-inch iPad, 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 and more affordable iPad are possible to release in April of this year. But Apple only released the new iPad (2017), the other two tablets while waiting in the wings. According to initial data, the frameless iPad will be released in June at WWDC 2017, as reported by MICE Times.
According to Macotakara, the new iPad Pro 2 models will be thicker than that used today. Also, the new iPad Pro 10.9 inch can come in a frame-free form. If that's proven to be true then iPad Pro 10.9 will be 7.5 mm thick, which is similar to the original iPad Air. The changes are not limited to this; however, the new Apple tab will also ditch the home key.
The flagship device in the series of iPad Pro this year is the 10.5-inch model that might get a dual camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels. Due to the frameless design of the tablet in size will be comparable to the current 9.7 inch iPad Pro. The thickness of the device will increase from 6.1 to 7.5 mm, as in the first iPad Air, as said earlier.
Apple also might update the iPad Pro with a screen size of 12.9 inches, but the launch schedule of this tablet is still unknown. In the month of June and July, according to industry representatives, will be shipped more than 4 devices.
