OnePlus 5 Leak Hints Cool Exteriors, Best Dual Camera Expected As DxO Partners With OnePlus

OnePlus might be working on a device so that it could become one of the leading manufacturers giving tough rivalry to the other tech giants. The leaked images and other details of the OnePlus 5 signify that it might become one of the coolest and best-featured smartphones ever built. The partnership with the DxO company hints that it could arrive with best dual camera setup.

According to Android Headlines, all the details of OnePlus 5 can be seen from every side except the top. This indeed creates a doubt whether the company will omit the 3.5mm headphone jack or not. The front face of the 'Midnight Black' colored smartphone can be seen with amazing four curved corners.  

It is reported that the fingerprint scanner could be placed inside the home button well below the screen. The smartphone is also seen with a front camera lens at the top left corner and an ear piece in the center. The back face of the smartphone holds two antenna lines placed at the top and bottom. A dual camera setup is seen placed horizontally on the left top corner and the OnePlus logo sits at the back.

According to OnePlus Forum, the company has announced its partnership with DxO. It is the French software company, which develops the image processing software and maintains a website with technical measurements of lenses and cameras.

"OnePlus has always been one of the leading innovators in the smartphone industry, and we are proud to partner with them and support their exciting mobile photography strategy." Etienne Knauer, SVP Sales & Marketing at DxO said.

The forum reports that the company has been pushing more resources in the camera department. The smartphones are said to be the most popular devices for everyday photography because of its easy portability when compared to the professional cameras like DSLRs. 

There are speculations that the OnePlus 5 smartphone will hold best dual camera set up on the rear. With this partnership with DxO, it can be believed that camera might be the best in this mobile when compared to the rivals such as Samsung Galaxy S8, Apple iPhone 7, Google Pixel and other smartphones

The other OnePlus 5 rumors hint that the device will probably sport a 5.5-inch fullHD or QHD AMOLED display.  The device is expected with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 64-bit octa-core, 6GB / 8GB of RAM and an Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.
