Samsung is rumored to unveil three new Galaxy J series device this year. Each of the three belonging to the mid-range category: Galaxy J3, Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 (2017). One of the three upcoming smartphones which is said to land in Europe, the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) has just spotted in press renders, alongside information about its specifications and pricing.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) has a premium look because of the metal body and revamped design. On the specs side, the smartphone is said to include a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor inside, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage, Phone Arena reported.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) will have rounded corners, 2.5D glass, and a home button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The device is said to have 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display supports HD (720p) resolution. The back and front sides of the smartphone sports 13-megapixel cameras with f/1.7 and f/1.9 aperture, respectively. There will be LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity will be included, according to Android Authority.

Furthermore, the variants of these new Galaxy J series smartphones have already made it to the U.S. market. Recently, the Galaxy J3 (2017) was launched from the carrier AT&T. While all of these devices are awaiting their global launch, the Galaxy J5 (2017) looks to be gearing up for its European launch soon.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) press renders have just spotted online. These renders show the possible design of the alleged Samsung mid-range expected to be launched soon. The leaked design shows that the Galaxy J5 for this year might boast a metal body and a refurbished design.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) will come running with Android 7.0 Nougat on board and will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. The Galaxy J5 (2017) is expected to be introduced in Europe in June for €279 outright.
