iMac 2017 Release Update: WWDC 2017 Cofirmed To See Two New iMac 2017 Variants

Apple has finally confirmed the much-anticipated new iMac for this year, which is designed aiming at creative professionals. As the Cupertino-based tech giant has started sending invites for its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 event, the company is expected to reveal its latest iMac 2017 model. The upcoming iMac 2017 is rumored to come along with the latest GPU and a Xeon Processor.

Not just one, but two iMac 2017 variants are reportedly said to be introduced next month. According to the reports, the upcoming iMac 2017 will have more powerful and have better performance than the regular computers.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has previously teased that there is a new iMac 2017 in their work. In addition to this, Software engineering Senior VP Craig Federighi and Apple's marketing head Phil Schiller confirmed that Apple is gearing up new higher specs of iMacs, with configurations aiming at creative professional users.

However, Apple traditionally hosts a key event on the first day of its WWDC. Tech enthusiasts can expect in the event an updated version of tvOS, watchOS, macOS, and iOS. Also, the tech company is expected to unveil new hardware update, such as iMac 2017 and the Siri Speaker, as reported by Mac Rumors.

Apple is expected to show off two new iMac 2017 variants this year, the 21.5-inch iMac as well as the 27-inch iMac Pro. A number of reports are claiming that the two new iMacs will enter into production this month. The tech giant is rumored to release the iMac 2017 variants in the second half of this year.

In terms of the iMac 2017 specs, the upcoming two new iMacs are expected to come along with server-grade hardware including Error Correcting Code (ECC) RAM. The iMac Pro 2017 variant will be equipped with a 64GB ECC RAM, up to 2TB NVMe SSD, a new discrete graphics card and an Intel server chip Xeon E3-1285 v6, according to Apple Insider.

iMacs 2017 is expected to feature Thunderbolt 3/USB Type-C ports, wireless keyboards, and Touch ID functionality with Touch Bar. Moe details of the iMac 2017 will be unveiled during the WWDC 2017.
