There are only a few days left before Supercell releases the Shipwreck update for "Clash of Clans" and so far, there has been scant information regarding the new feature. Reports, however, suggest that the update would roll out after May 22nd and a Versus Mode would be included.
According to All Clash, "Clash of Clans" will reportedly roll out the Shipwreck update after May 22nd, possibly on May 23rd to 25th. All indications suggest that the said launch window is highly likely at this point since Supercell has already officially released four of the five teaser video promotions, unofficially or officially called "Captain's Log."
This leaves the fifth teaser and other possible sneak peeks to be released just before the actual roll out date of the much-awaited update for "Clash of Clans." Incidentally, the fifth video teaser has already been released, albeit unofficially and via a leak. That being said, it seems like the Shipwreck update launch window is realistically possible.
LachNessMeownster, a moderator for Supercell's official forum, debunked a number of speculations supposedly to be included in the Shipwreck update for "Clash of Clans," such as a new Town Hall 12, additional level 13 Walls, and additional Heroes levels. Conversely, though, the moderator confirmed that there would indeed be a boat that needs repairing, a new achievement called "Un-Build It," and a new game mode called "Versus Battles."
It can be recalled that the Versus Mode has also been speculated upon since last year and the feature was rumored to be included in the December 2016 update. While the versus mode is called Wizards-vs-Goblins in the rumor mill last year, it is possible that the new game mode would be different and linked to the Shipwreck theme.
While Supercell's forum moderator have seemingly confirmed the arrival of the new game features such as the "Versus Mode" and the "Un-build It," it was still very light in details. Come to think of it, there has been no real information regarding those new features said to be introduced into "Clash of Clans" with the upcoming Shipwreck update.
Fans of "Clash of Clans" would still have to wait a couple more days to find out more about the Shipwreck feature. And while the majority of these gamers would have the patience to wait until the actual Shipwreck update is live, it would be a tragedy if, not to mention a travesty, if Supercell doesn't deliver the spectacular update its followers have been excited about.
