Xiaomi's one of the best selling smartphones Redmi Pro was taken down by the company a few months back. There were many speculations made on its successor Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 smartphone. However, the device has not been launched and none of its details is official yet.
A fresh listing of Redmi Pro 2 on the Xiaomi's official website (Mi.com) first spotted by GizmoChina reveals some its specifications and pricing. The Gizmo China managed to take up the screen shots of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 listed on the website.
According to GizmoChina, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 spotted on the Mi website has been taken down by the company and presently the smartphone cannot be found on the website. However, the screenshots of the listing and report give many details related to the smartphone. It is reported that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 smartphone listed sports a 5.5-inch OLED display.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with a 2GB of RAM and a 4100mAh battery. It is reported that the Redmi Pro 2 will be featuring dual camera setup as it was speculated earlier that it would not be having a dual rear camera. The smartphone will come with two 16MP dual sensors on the rear, an upgrade from the dual 13MP sensors on the currently available Redmi Pro.
According to Gizbot, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 listing also reveals the details on pricing. The smartphone is having a price tag of 1,199 Yuan (approx. $174). Comparing the pricing with the previously released Redmi Pro, the current listing suggests a lower price.
The Xiaomi Remi Pro that was launched in the previous year had a starting price tag of 1,499 Yuan (approx. $218) for a variant featuring 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and Helio X20 SoC. The smartphone featuring 3GB of RAM, 64GB storage, and Helio X25 processor had a price tag of 1,699 Yuan (approx. $247). The smartphone featuring 4GB of RAM, 128GB storage, and Helio X25 SoC had a price tag of 1,999 Yaun (approx. $290).
