Meizu Pro 7 New Specs Appeared In The Leaked Source Code

May 13, 2017 07:06 AM EDT

After a long time, a new Meizu Pro 7 leaks has hit the internet. Latest leaks are coming from the leaked source code, which reveals the key specifications and features regarding the upcoming Meizu Pro 7.

Folks over at GizChina.it have accessed some source code which seems to contain a few key specs of the Meizu Pro 7. According to the source code, the Meizu Pro 7 is going to be equipped with the deca-core MediaTek Helio X30 SoC. In terms of performance, the Helio X30 is said to be an enormous improvement over previous flagship MediaTek SoCs. The chipset will integrate the IMG PowerVR 7ZTP-MT4 GPU clocked at 800 MHz, which is a much more powerful solution as compared to what have been seen on the Helio X25 and X20 SoCs.

The upcoming Meizu Pro 7 is also expected to feature a dual-camera setup at the rear side. The source code hints that the primary sensor will be a 12MP Sony IMX386 while the secondary sensor will be Sony's IMX286 module. For the front side, the Meizu Pro 7 will be powered with a 16MP camera sourced from Samsung (S5K368), according to GSM Arena.

A "dual display" for the Meizu Pro 7 also revealed in the source code, that probably referring to the presence of two displays on the front. Dual displays aren't completely unheard of though, as have been seen such implementations in LG's V-series phablets and more recently in the HTC U Ultra.

Rest of the specifications remain a complete mystery right now, so all everyone has to do wait for more leaks to dispense in before Meizu makes the Meizu Pro 7 official. Going by a leaked Meizu roadmap for 2017 which had been leaked online late previous year, the latest upcoming Meizu Pro 7 is expected to be unveiling sometime in the coming month.
