Apple To Offer iTunes, Apple Music On The Windows 10 Store

Microsoft recently announced at its Microsoft Build 2017 event that Apple has plans of bringing the iTunes app to the Windows 10 Store. iTunes, however, available on the Windows platform, but adding this to the Windows Store would make it easier for users to find it. Interestingly, gaining iTunes for the Windows Store is a big thing for Microsoft. It is because the Windows Store has been lacking several important apps such as the Spotify and Google Chrome browser.

Microsoft has certain strict policies that several big companies aren't able to follow. Experts feel that even though the including iTunes to the Window Store isn't a big thing, but it is also one of the most searched apps that have been missing from the Windows Store, MacRumors reported. Moreover, there are reasons that make iTunes on Windows Store a real big thing.

According to USA Today, both iTunes and Apple Music would be arriving in Windows Store by the end of the year and Microsoft is also making it easier to shuffle from one platform to another. Experts assume that by including iTunes to the Windows Store, Microsoft would be able to drive more potential customers to use the latest Windows 10 Store.

iTunes had been developed and made actively available for Windows since 2003, but supporting the Windows Store is a very new thing. However, the availability of iTunes might not be a good news for macOS users who look forward to iTunes breaking up into a separate app.

Windows 10 S runs only Windows Store apps and unless apps such as iTunes are available in the Store, the users who want to buy a Surface Laptop might need to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro or need to sync the iPhones with the Windows PC. But again, news about this latest arrangement with Apple isn't clear. Also, Microsoft didn't come up with any screenshots of what the entire arrangement would appear like.
