Galaxy Note 7R Listed For Sale At 5399 Yuan In China

Samsung will be selling the refurbished units of the Galaxy Note 7 in Korea and China was already known. The refurbished models of the Galaxy Note 7 would be called Galaxy Note 7R and would feature a smaller capacity battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7R (the "R" stands for refurbished) has made an appearance through a merchant in China. The back side of the Galaxy Note 7R has a distinctive "R" symbol on its back to prevent someone from ripping off a buyer by selling one of the recalled units. The recalled Note 7 models now have the functionality of a brick.

Even though Samsung hasn't officially started selling the new Galaxy Note 7R, some websites in China have already begun selling it. The Galaxy Note 7R is being sold online in China for around 3599 Yuan that is about 2000 Yuan cheaper than the old price. Some customers have already bought the Galaxy Note 7R and have posted photos of it online.

According to Phone Arena, there are two available versions of the Galaxy Note 7R, depending on the location of buyer. One version for the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific markets comes with a 3200mAh battery, which is a 300mAh lower capacity than the juicer on the original Note 7. That device is priced at the equivalent of $521 USD. Another model, which priced at the equivalent of $580 USD, is carrying with a 3500mAh battery that is modified to prevent any explosions.

The only difference looks to be the change in battery capacity and a big 'R' lettering at the back of the Galaxy Note 7R. Previous reports mentioned that Samsung will sell the device in Korea in four colors, i.e., Coral Blue, Black, White, and Silver, as reported by The Android Soul.

The Galaxy Note 7R also appeared on GeekBench with the model number SM-N935S. There has been speculation that the smartphone might come with the Exynos 8895 chipset as well. However, right now an official announcement from Samsung is expected very soon.
