Motorola smartphone with a model number XT1723 has been listed on the Wi-Fi Alliance. This device is considered as the Moto E4 smartphone. The device with the same model number appeared on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) site in March. It can be believed that the Moto E4 may arrive into the tech market anytime soon.
According to The Android Soul, the Moto E4 is spotted carrying a model number XT1723 running on an Android 7.0 Nougat OS on the Wi-Fi Alliance. The device is reported to have achieved the certification on May 11, 2017. The device is seen carrying a hardware version number as MT6737 and firmware version number as NRD90M.01 019.
The appearance of Moto E4 on FCC in March hints that the device could feature a 4,000mAH battery, which is clearly an upgrade over Moto E3. The Moto E3 smartphone sports a 3,500mAH battery.
According to The Verge, it is speculated that the Motorola could release two Moto E smartphones. The Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus are speculated to arrive with Android Nougat straight-out of the box. It is also reported that the MediaTek MT6737M quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.3GHz will power both the smartphones.
The Moto E4 and E4 Plus smartphones are speculated to arrive with 5-inch and 5.5-inch display respectively. However, the speculations with respect to the battery are deviating from the FCC listing. The report suggests that the former smartphone will be equipped with 2,800mAh battery, whereas the Moto E4 Plus will be equipped 5,000mAh battery.
The Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus are expected to feature 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM respectively. Both the smartphone are reported to feature a 5MP front-facing camera. However, the rear camera featuring in the smartphones will vary. It is reported that the Moto E4 could feature an 8MP rear camera, while the Moto E4 Plus could feature a 13MP camera.
The report also hints the price tags with which the device could be bought. It is reported that the Moto E4 will be on sale in Europe for 150 Euros, while the E4 Plus will cost 190 Euros.
