Just as when "Clash of Clans" gamers are getting used to the idea of the Shipwreck getting released on May 16 to 18, a report suggesting that it would roll out between May 23 and 25 has surfaced. In line with this, Supercell released another video teaser for its update.
All Clash reports that Supercell has just released the third teaser video for the upcoming Shipwreck update. The teaser, the third of five teaser videos that the "Clash of Clans" developer is set to air, highlights a Hog Rider traveling in a boat and being bored that he decided to play a game of "I Spy" by himself.
Aside from the video teaser, informally titled "Captain's Log," being relatively funny, it doesn't provide any information or hints with regards to what the supposed huge update is going to be. The teaser doesn't even provide the "Clash of Clans" fans a launch date to look forward to, or what the upcoming feature's official name is going to be for that matter.
This lack of information coming from Supercell with respect to the Shipwreck update has made "Clash of Clans" gamers impatient. However, a concrete information has been provided by Twister, a moderator for the studio's official forum, and confirms that the update will indeed come in May 2017 and that the game developer is "getting to close" to its launch window.
A previous report suggests that Supercell is targeting the dates between May 16 and May 18 as its launch window for the Shipwreck feature. However, the recent information reveals that Supercell might actually release the "Clash of Clans" update a week later, between May 23 and May 25.
This new information seems to suggest that Supercell is not quite ready to release the new update for "Clash of Clans" even if a number of YouTube personalities have already played a version of the Shipwreck. However, with 2 more "Captain's Log" teaser videos set to be released in the coming days, and the fact that the SMS notification for fans wanting to receive news when the update gets released is now extended until May 15, the Shipwreck being launched during the May 23 and May 25 launch window is highly likely.
From the rumored release date delays to inaccurate Shipwreck detail leaks, and to having no information at all, some fans are becoming restless. After all, "Clash of Clans" gamers are just asking for a trickle of Shipwreck information such as its release date, the official name of the May 2017 update, and a little detail on what to expect when it finally goes live.
And with Supercell, in keeping with its tradition, choosing to remain silent with regards to the Shipwreck update, fans of "Clash of Clans" are in for a couple more days of frustration. However, Supercell is not known to introducing half-baked finished products. That being said, fans can rest assured that when the studio finally releases the update, it would be spectacular.
