Apple’s Smart Siri Speaker Update: Release Date, Name, Specification & Price; All You Need To Know

Apple, the multinational conglomerate is about to roll out a smart home speaker, Siri Speaker, later this year. After Amazon Echo and Google Home, now Apple is working on a smart in-home Siri-based speaker. It's highlighted that the smart Siri Speaker will follow every command and control all home products. Hopefully, at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference in June, people will witness Apple's Siri Speaker. 

According to Mac Rumors, reports stated that the upcoming Apple's Siri Speaker will give an "excellent acoustics performance" through the superior speaker quality and microphone technology. As Apple has declared nothing officially about the name, it's referred as "Siri Smart Speaker". It's reported that the Siri Speaker will feature a Mac Pro-Like concave top with built-in control and structure wise it will be "fat" like Google Home. It will also provide a mesh material cover outside and the facial recognition facility. Previously in the course of prototyping phase in September, it was outlined that the Siri Speaker will possess large and small variants of it.

Several reports stated that the primary function of Siri Speaker is- playing music, podcasts, respond to voice commands and stuff, etc. But probably the inclusion of Siri integration forces the Siri Speaker to behave like a home hub to protect home products like reminders, alarms, lights, smart plugs, curtains and other devices etc. Apple is working so hard to develop a new gadget like Siri Speaker. Hopefully, Apple's new gadget Siri Speaker will also possess many other exceptional qualities like reading and replying messages, delivering news, streaming songs from Apple Music etc. It's also surveyed that the Siri Speaker will run an iOS version, includes AirPlay function and Beats technology and also the computing power is like iPhone 6 or 6S.

According to BGR, reports stated that Siri Speaker may not feature the display because Siri home speaker is a voice-activated smart speaker. Apple's Marketing chief Phil Schiller's comment on Siri Speaker's voice assistant is probably the roadmap to the Apple's line of thinking. According to Phil, voice assistant without display is not a good idea, it doesn't suit many situations. For instance, when getting direction or maps, voice assistants are incredibly powerful but the role of the screen is indescribable.

So there is a 50 percent chance that Apple is going to release the Siri Speaker at this year's WWDC, June 5-9. The original price is still not discussed, but it's believed to cost approximately $179. There is no official news about the shipping though.
