Palit Microsystems would be revealing an overclocked limited edition version of the GTX 1080Ti. Palit will be selling it through Galax and KFA2 labels and call it The Hall of Fame Limited Edition.

According to numerous rumors, the card was completely rebuilt by Palit to unlock its extreme overclocking potential capabilities. The card would be retailing at a massive $1,200 because of the complete restructuring of the GTX 1080Ti. According to OverClockers UK, the card is priced at a massive $1,232 and Palit recommends a 600W power block for this behemoth of a card.

The Palit GTX 1080Ti is similar to the GTX 1080Ti Founders Edition in all aspects except the base clock and boost clock speeds. Palit manages to squeeze an impressive 1,645Mhz base speed compared to the 1,481Mhz base speed of the Founders Edition.

Palit also manages to overclock the boost speeds to 1,759 MHz, making it faster than the newly released GTX Titan Xp. This massive overclocking increases the performance of the Palit GTX 1080Ti to 12.6 TFlops, compared to a 12.1 TFlops of the GTX Titan Xp.

The CUDA cores, however, remain the same on the GTX 1080Ti and are lesser than the GTX Titan XP. All of the overclocking has made the Palit GTX 1080Ti to suck greater power from a power block. The new card has a TDP of 350 Watts compared to 250 Watts of the Founders Edition card.

The Galax and KFA2 models are identical in design and both include a DVI-D port, three DisplayPort 1.4 ports. Palit has reworked the cooling system and has used an HOF-branded aluminum backplate for strengthening the card.

According to Yahoo Tech news, all versions of the Palit GTX 1080Ti gets Trimax cooling system which includes three 90mm fans embedded around a white shield. It also has an LCD display which shows the stats of the card in real time.

Palit's Xtreme Tuner Plus software can enable the RGB lighting in the card and set it according to the mood of the user. It has strobe and breathe lighting available right out of the box and Palit mentions that the card's lighting system can be customized throughout.
