The latest Amazon Echo device called Echo Show would release on Tuesday and this device might be priced around $229. It would be available for pre-orders across the US from May 9 and would go on sale from June 28. Latest reports suggest that Amazon has invested in the Echo/ Alexa brand and might release its latest gadget soon.

The Amazon Echo Show might come with a 7-inch touchscreen and would display the information relevant to voice search or voice command, GSMArena reported. When asked about weather update, the user would be shown a forecast. Apart from voice searches, the latest Amazon Echo can do more. One of the interesting features includes its ability to make phone calls to other Echo devices.

The Amazon Echo Show comes with a handy screen for various reasons. In fact, according to Engadget, it could also integrate as doorbells and act as an intercom or it could make voice calls to other smartphones. The screen would also allow the user to select a song or perhaps a playlist from Spotify. Also, the user wouldn't need to repeat the song to Alexa in case she doesn't pick up the right song.

Now, experts feel, if Amazon really becomes successful, it might replace the landline connections in the home. Earlier the device was able to answer questions, but the new Amazon Echo Show would be able to display the answers. The device would also support internet-based calls. The screen would give users information about the Alexa queries and users can play YouTube videos and more.

Amazon was the first company to bring up the idea of integrating its assistant inside the speaker. However, it really made it happen through Echo, Tap and other similar products. On joining the Echo family, the Echo Look makes four Echos on the market and there might be a fifth coming soon.
