OnePlus 5 To Arrive In Summer, Ready To Give Tough Competition To iPhone 8

When the busy tech world talked about gadgets from Samsung and Apple, smaller phone manufacturers gave their best, including the Chinese phone maker, OnePlus. With the arrival of summer, the users might expect a new device from OnePlus. The latest device to arrive would be OnePlus 5. OnePlus has also posted its first teaser of OnePlus 5 on Weibo account.

OnePlus 5 would be the successor of OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. Even though not much is known about the upcoming device, rumors suggest it might have dual camera set up. Also, the device would have high- end specs. Interestingly, after OnePlus 3, users might expect OnePlus 4. But there's a twist, in China,people consider 4 as unlucky and due to this the makers would be coming up with OnePlus 5.

According to GSMArena, the OnePlus 5 would be priced around $449. The leaked image of the device showed it might come with dual cameras. As per a new leak, the phone might as well include a 3600mAh battery. Along with this, the device might also come as an 8GB model. The phone might also come with fast charging facility than OnePlus 3T, thanks to the Dash Charge 2.0.

Coming to the display screen, the OnePlus 5 would feature a 5.5 inch screen. It would also  move over full HD resolution and adopt QHD display with resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, Digit reported. The device would sport Snapdragon 835 that includes Octa Core configuration clocked at 2.45GHz. Interestingly, it would also include a 6GB RAM and some reports suggest it might come as an 8GB RAM variant as well.

A couple of weeks ago, a leaked image suggested that OnePlus 5 might come with dual camera and even though the image authenticity was doubtful, the questions wouldn't stop. As per reports, the phone would come with two 12 megapixel primary cameras and one 8 megapixel front camera. The device would hit the market in the middle of June.
