"Titanfall" series is now expected to be launched in mobile devices as a real-time strategy game. "Titanfall: Assault," is the second attempt to the sequel story of the Titanfall franchise to mobile platforms. Recently, the game has just been announced last Wednesday, May 3, 2017, by the game's publisher Nexon alongside developers Particle City and Respawn.
According to Polygon, "Titanfall: Assault" is the newest game that will be a product made by the collaboration between publisher Nexon and the developer Particle City along with the support of Respawn Entertainment; the original makers of the Titanfall game.
"Titanfall: Assault" describes as a fast-paced moving and responsive real-time-strategy game where players command huge Titans and their mobile squad of Pilots as the main force of their armies. Similar to an earlier attempt at a Titanfall mobile game; players will build their military assets in the form of cards. These cards can be on of Titan, Pilot, and Burn which can be combined to deploy armies on the field with different compositions as needed.
Titans and Pilots can be paired up to form heroic units, while Burn cards provide situational effects to support the player's army. These types of cards in "Titanfall: Assault" can be further upgraded to create improvements.
The game will also feature player versus player battles, in which a leaderboard where the game's commanders can compete for more rewards to gather. "Titanfall: Assault" official website is now taking in pre-registrations that will let the publishers notify players about when the game launches, as well as other connected updates to the game.
According to Digital Trends, "Titanfall: Assault" is the second game by the Nexon, Respawn, and Particle City collaboration, after the previously announced "Titanfall: Frontline" card game. "Titanfall: Frontline" was announced last year in 2016, unfortunately, got canceled several months after.
