New 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' DLC 'Zombie Chronicles' Adds Eight Classic Zombie Maps

Treyarch is giving a new "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC for multiplayer gaming. Call of Duty Zombies creator Treyarch recently confirmed that they are going to revisit the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" and provide some extra multiplayer maps to the existing Zombies mode.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles" DLC would be featuring classic "Call of Duty" Zombie maps. These maps would be remastered and there would be eight maps in total-Nacht der Untoten, Shangri-la, Ascension, Kino der Toten, Shi no Numa, Verruckt, Origins and Moon.

Jason Blundell, the co-studio head, said in an interview with JCbackfire that Treyarch wants to give a loving fan service for fans who have started playing the Zombies game mode. Blundell mentioned that he felt it was more important to give people they beginnings.

Blundell also mentioned that the new "Call of Duty" DLC package consists of eight classic maps for zombies and were its foundation that everyone loved. Blundell also mentioned that the downloadable content would be serving as a special one-off package.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles" would be releasing this May 16th. The first platform to get the game for download would be PlayStation4. Blundell mentioned that Treyarch plans to host a live-stream on Monday, May 8. The live-stream would be providing more details about the game.

While fans are getting excited to download the classic Zombie mode maps, fans of the series are also checking out the official timeline of the series posted on Call of Duty website. Treyarch's famous cooperative Zombies mode was glorified in the 2008 game "Call of Duty: World At War". Ever since then, Treyarch has tried to incorporate and improve the existing Zombies mode. The Zombies mode will also return in Sledgehammer Games' 2017 offering "Call of Duty" WWII".

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" was one of the best-selling "Call of Duty" games in history, with over $550 million dollars revenue in the first week of release. The fan base for "Call of Duty" would increase after this new DLC.
