After so many leaks, speculations and rumors, finally smartphone maker OnePlus has confirmed that its upcoming flagship will be called OnePlus 5 and the 'Four' number will be skipped. OnePlus has confirmed to a publication that much anticipated OnePlus 5 is arriving this summer.
OnePlus has confirmed to The Verge that OnePlus 5 will succeed the OnePlus 3T ... and not much else. This is the first official information from Shenzhen.
OnePlus has decided to skip the number 4 since the number is considered unlucky in China. The smartphone maker also said one of the reasons for picking the 5 is the number five jersey of a former NBA player Robert Horry, who is considered a favorite among many employees of the Chinese company.

Till now we only had teasers, rumors, and leaks about the OnePlus 5. They have suggested that the upcoming iPhone Killer will arrive with 5.5" screen of QHD resolution and a Snapdragon 835 chipset. The RAM will be 6 GB but leaks for 8 GB appeared as well, as reported by GSM Arena.
