May 05, 2017 06:38 PM EDT

NASA Visualization Explorer App was first launched in 2011 for iPad and was later available on all iOS devices. After months of speculation, NASA has finally made the app for Android users. There is a little catch as confirmed by NASA, which says that phones running Android 5.0 or higher can avail this service.

The App will enable users to read about NASA's latest study of Earth, the Sun, and the Solar System. NASA Visualization Explorer App will feature high-resolution movie, still image, and a text in reference to the context. The app will now sport the viewing of World's Carbon dioxide in 3-D, a much-awaited experience. The erupting Water plumes in Jupiter and path of summer's Total solar eclipse all across North America will now be visible.

Android users will experience the Beta version of the NASA Visualization Explorer App, which indicates that all the features experienced by an iOS user will not be available right now. IFL Science reported that the app will enable users to share content through Facebook, Email, SMS, or even Twitter. The search box is available with the option to save contents that one wishes to read later.

525 stories have been updated till now, and Android users will be able to enjoy every single one of them. The App had already crossed over one million user mark and with the launch of the Android version, one can expect a meteoric rise. NASA has enabled the Visualization Explorer App to receive feedbacks from users directly through the app.

There is still uncertainty regarding the launch of NASA Visualization Explorer App. NASA in an official report stated that they are refining the Android app to better the experience of their users. One can hope that the app will fare well in the Android community. Meanwhile, for more updates on Visualization App stay tuned with us!
