EVGA has released their own take on the GTX 1080Ti and has made the already beast of a card better in every aspect. The card is called an EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid Gaming and uses the company's proprietary iCX cooling solution that keeps the card cool during heavy gaming.

EVGA mentioned that iCX is the definitive cooling solution for the entire card, as it enables gamers to target different parts inside the card for cooling, and not just the GPU itself. Temperature monitoring on different components comes standard in this cooling solution and it provides better overclocking.

EVGA's iCX system is made up of three memory-focused thermal sensors that are located on the face of the card. The bottom of the card and the graphics chip itself houses four power-focused thermal sensors and one thermal sensor respectively.

According to PC Gamer, a substantial amount of information that is collected by these sensors are fed into EVGA's XOC software for precise monitoring and temperature management. Apart from these sensors, the card also gets a closed loop water cooling solution consisting of a 120mm fan and a radiator.

The setup might seem complicated, but EVGA mentions that there is no maintenance required for the radiator and the fan. There also is a copper base for the GPU and a dedicated memory block that makes contact with the water cooling unit. Apart from this, there is a heatsink on the voltage regulator module. This is the coolest EVGA card according to Tom's Hardware.

The EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid Gaming gets 3,584 CUDA cores, a higher base clock of 1,556 Mhz, a higher boost clock of 1,670 Mhz. The card gets a massive 12GB GDDR5X memory and also has a 352-bit bus width. The card has a memory clock of 11Gbps and a bandwidth of 484 GBPS. It needs two power chords, a 6-pin, and an 8-pin and needs a constant power supply of 250 Watts.

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid Gaming costs $810 on Newegg but is not available as of yet.
