Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) might soon be getting the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system update. The smartphone was spotted on the GFXBench where it is seen running the Nougat. The smartphone was launched with two years old Android marshmallow OS in January along with the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017).
According to the Android Soul, the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) was spotted carrying a model number SM-A320x on the GFXBench website running on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. It is reported that the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) was also spotted on the GFXBench last month. This clearly shows that all the three Galaxy A series smartphones will soon get the Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
Google, the search engine giant released the Android 7.0 Nougat in August last year. The Nougat OS was introduced with the bundle of features like the all-new notifications layout in the notification shade, some design changes, all-new Doze mode, and many others.
The owners of the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) shall wait until the company officially releases the Android 7.0 Nougat OS update. The update could be rolled out over-the-air and a notification might hit the smartphones soon. Therefore, owners are requested to wait for a while until the update reaches the device or can also keep on checking the update manually by heading to Settings > About device > System updates.
According to Android Headlines, The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) smartphone is seen sporting a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display having a resolution of 1280 pixels by 720 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by Exynos 7870 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and ARM Mali-T830 GPU. The smartphone is loaded with 16GB of expandable storage and a 2,350mAh non-removable battery.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) smartphone features a 13-megapixel shooter with f/1.9 aperture at the rear and an 8-megapixel camera as a selfie shooter.
