“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” has been a hit with the gamers and most are probably in the final stages of the base game. But like most games out in the market today, added content can be done at any time and two are reportedly happening in 2017.
Two DLC packs for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U are coming soon with the first pack titled ““The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – The Master Trials” rolling out this summer. According to Nintendo, the first DLC will bring in the “Trial of the Sword” and a new hard mode pegged to give hardcore gamers stiffer challenges.
The second one’s official title has yet to be known though its release date will reportedly happen during the holidays this 2017. Both “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” DLC packs are offered as bundles for a price of $19.99.
With the first pack, ““The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - The Master Trials” expected to come out soon, here are some details on what to expect. For the “Trial of the Sword,” players will need to prepare for the challenges brought be enemies who will appear one after the other. “Link” will start off without any of the weapons and armors, competing in 45 rooms. If successful, the true power of the “Master Sword” will be released and will remain in its glowing powered-up state.
Aside from that, the hard mode for “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” poses as another challenge for gamers. The ranks of the adversaries are tweaked a bit meaning they will be tougher to beat. Aside from these two features, other modes to expect include “Hero’s Path” mode, “Travel Medallion,” “Korok Mask” and new equipment which were inspired by previous characters and games in the series.
