HTC Vive Owners Could Upgrade To Deluxe Audio Strap Coming This June

HTC unveiled Deluxe Audio Strap as well as other accessories for the Vive virtual reality headset at CES 2017. However, it has recently revealed the launching date on June 6. Interestingly, the rig perfectly fits into the Vive for a great sound experience. This means users don't need to use any separate headphones for it.

The HTC Vive Audio Strap also includes several improvements such as a wheel for adjusting the fit, extra padding for a long time comfort. Even though the headset comes with several features, the Oculus Rift did have an upper hand over the Vive headphones, it came with a better audio solution. HTC claims that the latest headphone comes with the ability to keep headphone in place. This makes the product suitable for all environments.

Along with this, the tech giant, HTC also mentions about the weight balancing and comfort. Moreover, the company believes these features would benefit the end users and developers. Now, the Vive Deluxe Audio Strap headphone features both height and angle adjustments. This makes it convenient for all users and fits perfectly. Apart from these, the earphones can be flipped easily if users want to get a vibe from the outside world. The Vive Deluxe Audio Strap would cost $99.99, VRFocus reported.

What's interesting is that HTC is extremely confident with its latest Deluxe Audio Strap being a better upgrade over the actual configuration. In fact, according to Digital Trends the tech biggie would ship out Business Editions of the headset along with the strap. The buyers need to wait till June to get hold of the product. The shipping would start from June itself and early pre orders would start later in the month. This means, new orders would start rolling out after that.

The other latest accessory from HTC is the Track. As for the tech geeks, HTC would bring more accessories as well as controllers to this virtual world. This would bring in a lot of third party peripherals in the future.
