LG is reportedly working on a smaller display size variant of its G6 smartphone, which could be named as LG G6 Mini.
According to Techno Buffalo, a trusted source has provided an internal document that reveals some details about the upcoming smartphone. Moreover, the report also suggests that the soon-to-be-launched smartphone will be a mini version of the G6; however, the publication hasn't uploaded the document due to its "sensitive nature."
On the other hand, LG hasn't officially confirmed anything about images of the unannounced LG G6 Mini. Rumored LG G6 Mini will come with 18:9 aspect ratios like the LG G6. Unluckily, the rest of the phone's specs and features are still unknown.
According to Slash Gear, there is nothing else mentioned about the said LG G6 Mini other than its screen size. According to the insider, LG G6 Mini would be a 5.4-inch screen of still unknown resolution. It will supposedly have a screen-to-body ratio of 80 percent, which is somewhat close to the LG G6.
However, according to India Today, the rumored LG G6 Mini may look similar in size to the iPhone 7 that has a 4.7-inch display. Speculations claim that LG may build the LG G6 Mini around the same chipset -- Snapdragon 821 -- which won't remain 'high-end' when the device comes out.
LG's G6 comes in 5.7-inch QHD+ 'Full Vision' display with 18:9 display ratio, which the company claims is the first in any smartphone. LG G6 features a metal and glass design and comes with 13MP+13MP dual rear camera setup.
LG G6 also has the IP68 rating. The smartphone is having a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, microSD card support, Hi-Fi DAC and a fingerprint scanner. LG G6 boasts a 3,300mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0.
