Xiaomi, the Chinese tech giant plans to open more than 200 Mi Home stores by end of this year. This particular plan is exclusive for the Chinese tech market and the information is currently coming directly from Lei Jun, who shared the company's point of view on his official Weibo (Chinese social network) page. The Mi enthusiasts will soon be able to see Mi Home Stores for buying the products made by the company.
According to Android Headlines, Lei Jun on his official Weibo page shared the plans of company setting up over 200 Mi Home stores this year. It is reported that the company has already opened up about 80 Mi Home stores in China and new plans will add up to make a total of 300 Mi Home Stores by end of 2017.
It is reported that the Xiaomi was an online company and plans of expanding its business have made the company choose to start an offline stores for better sales and profit. The Xiaomi enthusiasts will now get an opportunity to check the newly launched product by trying them out.
The report hints that the company has no plans to open Mi Home stores currently in other countries around the globe. There are expectations made that the company will set up Mi Home stores in India, as it is the second largest market to the company after China. The company has sold huge number of smartphones in the country and has gained huge attention by releasing the newly launched products immediately.
According to Xiaomi Today, Xiaomi has not solved the production shortage problem for its smartphones, which has attained huge success in terms of sales. The recently launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X and other smartphones are reported to have faced the same problem and the current plans of setting up of new 200 Mi Home Stores will boost the sales of the most liked and upcoming smartphones.
