‘The Division’ Brings Update 1.6 Patch Notes: Several Additions Confirmed Including Game Changes And Bug Fixes

Ubisoft's "The Division" Update 1.6 patch notes has been released by the company before it hits on the public server. The contents and bug fixes from the in-development version of the update are free to avail for everyone. Unfortunately, players must expect that the changes and improvement are not final yet where some might not work properly as of now.

According to Game Rant, several changes were applied using "The Division" Update 1.6 which includes the Dark Zone received an expansion. Players can now explore more areas to the Northern part of the Dark Zone, along with new challenges and enemies to discover within the vicinity.

In terms of "The Division" combat play, the time to revive a downed ally was increased from three seconds to five. Medkits cooldown time received increase duration too; which is now clocks at 15 seconds from its original 12 seconds and each combat will have a short cooldown episode.

In addition to "The Division" Update 1.6, new bonus was added which increases the resistance to all types of status effects called Resist All. The resistance to status effects also has been tweaked to reduce the effect rather than adding the chance to resist it. To emphasize, the 10 percent bleed resist that will now allow lower the bleed damage and duration by 10 percent which originally increased the chances to ignore it by 10 percent also.

As noted by GameSpot, character talents received their improvements too, including On the Move which is now reduced to 15 percent while Critical Save and Battle Buddy are now down to 20 percent and 30 percent, respectively. For character skills, several changes have been applied on the stick bomb, turret, skill power, First Aid, and other signature skills.
