Samsung has dropped branding down on its new Galaxy S8 and S8 plus smartphones, thus making it an all screen phone.Samsung has secretly made an agreement with the US carriers to not place their logos on the phones so that all of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus models look the same externally.

As mentioned in The Verge, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have an edge to edge display on the front and its bezel-less design has left no room for branding. But the design on the back has left plenty of space for a Verizon or AT&T stamp. But Samsung has elected not to include any logos that even back of the phone remains spotless. So, the customers in the US will get the Galaxy S8 and S8+ devoid of branding from Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint.

Sprint has already stopped putting their marks on flagship phone hardware. LG G6 has carrier logos of AT&T's only because the two carriers are not ready to give up on the external branding of phones. But, Samsung has managed to persuade even Verizon and AT&T not to stamp their logos all over Galaxy S8 and S8 plus phones

One can still get to see the logo as a part of startup screen that is when you boot up S8 or S8+, you'll still get to see a splash screen with your carrier's logo. Each phone will have a plenty of preinstalled apps from those carriers as well. So while the hardware of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus look alike, users will still be subjected to specific carrier content when they actually use it. Maybe in coming few years, Samsung will get rid of this bloatware too, CNET, reported.

The curved display with no bezel and sleek design of Samsung S8 and S8 plus smartphones make them look incredibly beautiful. The Samsung has just included the Samsung name and "Galaxy S8" or "Galaxy S8+" at the bottom of the rear side of the smartphone.

By looking at the features and design of Samsung S8 and S8 plus. It can be said that Samsung has reached a stage where it can compete even with the biggest mobile manufacturers for its incredibly good looking gadgets.
