The predator X27 is one of the newly launched G-Sync HDR displays; it comes with NVidia's shutter killing graphics technology. It also has a glorious high-dynamic range visual. The features of this monitor are the most recent additions that are just starting to appear in PCs
According to The Verge, Today's brightest monitors have more than 400 nits of brightness. Acer's flagship hits a massive 1000 units via 384 separate backlights. It helps Acer to deliver the vibrant colors HDR is originally famous for. This vividness of HDR Monitors makes the deep and deep blacks more impactful.
It doesn't end here. Acer has filled the Predator X27 with every feature that anyone can ask for. This include-4K resolution, a beastly 144Hz refreshing rate, 4ms response rate, 99 percent coverage of Adobe RGB color space, 178-degree viewing angles, Tobii eye tracking and bleeding edge quantum Dot enhancement film technology.
It is the first HDR monitor that comes with QDEF coated with Nano-sized dots. These emit light of a very specific color depending on the size of the dot. These help to produce bright, saturated and vibrant colors through the whole spectrum, starting from deep greens and reds to intense blues.
However, the technology used in the Acer Predator X27 helps to display a much larger set of colors. The pictures produced help to reflect the scenes more accurately. The colors shown on the monitor are no less compared to real life experience, as per Arstechnica.
Considering the list of luxurious features offered by Predator X27, the price will be really high. It will also require beastly graphics to achieve the full capabilities of this monitor. At least two GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards ($700 for each) to even come close to getting 144Hz at 4K resolution for most games.
