‘Clash Royale’ News, Tips & Tricks: How to Win the Heal Draft Challenge and How the Heal Spell Can Impact the Game

The Heal Spell has long been a staple weapon in "Clash of Clans." Having the Heal Spell introduced in "Clash Royale" could potentially change the dynamics of the real-time player-versus-player mobile game. Players could unlock the Heal Spell early during the Heal Draft Challenge before it is officially released.

According to the Clash Royale Arena, the Heal Spell can be unlocked in Hog's Mountain and would cost 3 elixirs to play. A one-time special event will be held starting on April 28 wherein the newest spell in "Clash Royale" can be unlocked by players participating in the Heal Draft Challenge. As stated above and as the name itself suggest, the Heal Spell is a card that can heal the caster's troops, allowing the troops to survive longer and, in turn, deal more hits to the opponent.

The Heal Draft Challenge will be similar to past Draft Challenges in "Clash Royale." A player chooses between 2 cards to build half the player's deck while the opposition supplies the other half of the deck. The major difference is that the Heal Spell is up for grabs and only one player would have the said spell for the battle. Then the battle would proceed as any normal match in the game.

For the Heal Draft Challenge, only one player would have the Heal Spell so a player must select cards that are capable of attacking with the Heal Spell in tow, and to defend against the Heal Spell. Needless to say that defending against the Heal Spell in "Clash Royale" would require creativity and a little bit of maneuvering. According to Clash Royale Boss, it is a must to have a defensive structure, such as the Cannon or the Inferno Tower, when defending against the Heal Spell. This would draw the attacking troops away from the defender's tower and limits the effective radius of the spell.

Employ a defense-first mentality during "Clash Royale's" Heal Draft Challenge. A player must keep in mind that he or she would be supplying half of the opponent's deck so not giving the opposition a good combo or counter that could be enhanced by the Heal Spell is important.

If the player has the Heal Spell during the Heal Draft Challenge, it is important to remember that the troops that can be killed with one-shot are going to be more effective now. If the opponent ignores these troops, a Heal Spell at the right moment would allow the player to deal significant damage. Also, a tank-kill-squad combo augmented by the Heal Spell would last longer in "Clash Royale."

That said, the Heal Spell would be a useful card not only during the Heal Draft Challenge but also for future battles. It could potentially change the whole approach and the dynamics of the game, making the battles more challenging.
