Samsung Galaxy S8 launched recently takes up with the Apple iPhone 7 smartphone. There are five incredible features in the Samsung's smartphone which might make it superior over the best smartphone released till date by the Cupertino-based tech giant.

According to Fortune, the Samsung Galaxy S8  is reported to be the current best smartphone available in the tech market. The five features that make the Samsung's smartphone a killer smartphone and a milestone in terms of features to other tech giants.

Display: The Samsung smartphone has a larger screen-to-body ratio, better display technology, and the most liked thing is the minimum bezels at the top and bottom with curved edge screen at the sides. The Samsung Galaxy S8 sports a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2960 pixels. On the other hand, the Apple iPhone 7 features 4.7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display with a resolution of 750 pixels by 1334 pixels.

Phone unlocking: According to Android Authority, the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone holds a lot of features that will allow the user to unlock the smartphone easily. The Samsung Galaxy S8 has the older PIN/password/pattern options, a facial recognition feature, a fingerprint scanner, and an iris scanner. On the other hand, the Apple iPhone 7 holds the same feature of a fingerprint scanner and PIN/Password feature which all started from iPhone 5.

Headphone jack: Samsung has not ditched the headphone jack as the Apple did in the iPhone 7. Apple removed the 3.5 mm headphone port on the iPhone 7  in order to make the smartphone thin and also to make the phone dust and water resistant. Thus, Apple included a pair of wireless headphones, including AirPods. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S8 has a 3.5mm headphone jack and is reported to have a better IP water-resistant rating than the iPhone 7.

MicroSD card slot: The Samsung Galaxy S8 has 64GB internal storage and can be expanded up to 256GB via microsSD card. Thus, when the user likes to upgrade the smartphone to the next model than the same microsSD card can be used in the new smartphone. On the other hand, the Apple iPhone 7 offers 128GB and 256 GB of storage but with no slot for microSD card.

Wireless charging and battery:  The Samsung Galaxy S8 not only supports cabled fast charging and wireless charging but also has the wireless fast charging feature and the smartphone is equipped with 3,000mAh battery. On the other hand, the Apple iPhone 7 does not offer the three features of charging which the Samsung is offering and also has a 1,960mAh battery.
