VIZIO 2017 Speakers & Displays: Ready To Launch With Chromecast and Google Home This Year

Recently, VIZIO revealed its 2017 collection of audio products and displays. This set of the collection includes a wide array of new technologies and resolutions as well as both wired and wireless pieces of equipment. The VIZIO SmartCast P-Series Ultra HD HDR XLED Pro and M-Series Ultra DH HDR XLED Plus Display collections have been revealed with the VIZIO SmartCast Crave Go Multi-Room Wireless Speaker and a set of soundbars for HDTVs.

SmartCast Crave Go

As for the VIZIO SmartCast Crave Go, it is a multi-room wireless speaker with Chromecast built on it. By this, any smart device capable of casting audio to Chromecast devices will be able to do so directly to the SmartCast Crave Go. For other Chromecast devices, multiple devices can be connected with the Crave Go over Wi-Fi.

VIZIO SmartCast

According to Digital Trends, VIZIO is on boards with Google's push for interactive and natural voice-toting smart home experience. With this, the company enabled VIZIO SmartCast to work with Google Assistant on devices such as Google Home. By using the phase OK Google, it allows users to request music that will be played on the VIZIO Sound Bar in apps such as Pandora, Spotify, and Google Play Music.

SmartCast M-Series

According to PC Magazine, the 2017 VIZIO SmartCast M-Series offers a wide range of T set sizes for prices between $800 and $3,000. This includes the 50-inch, 70-inch, 75-inch, and 65-inch VIZIO SmartCast M-Series Ultra-HD HDR XLED Plus Display.

SmartCast P-Series

As for the SmartCast P-Series, it also features a ChromeCast built-in. This P-Series display collection will have this feature in an OTA update to 2016 SmartCast Ultra HD and all 2017 SmartCast models. The SmartCast P-Series will be released as three different units; 55-inch Ultra HD HDR XLED Pro Display at $1,300, a 75-inch unit at $3,500, and a 65-inch unit at $2,000.

Sound Bars

There will be six new sound bars going to be released by VIZIO this year. The smallest is the VIZIO 28-inch 2.0 Sound Bar which will wear $80 price tag. Other 36-inch 2.1 Sound Bar systems will be released, and a 32-inch 5.1 Sound Bar that will cost $250.
