OnePlus is preparing to unveil the OnePlus 5. There have been many rumors and leaks regarding the smartphone flagship but latest reports confirmed that the device will have a dual rear camera. For now, no other details about the smartphone are known; however, it is expected that the OnePlus 5 will be launched in the next two months.

An image of OnePlus' upcoming smartphone, tipped to be called the OnePlus 5, have been leaked by India Today. The leaked image of OnePlus 5 only shows the back of the phone and hints that the smartphone might come with a dual rear camera setup. Details about the rear camera setup are still unknown. As per the leaked images, it also looks like OnePlus will not move the fingerprint sensor to the back of the smartphone and will continue to house it inside the home button at the front.

The leaked renders claim that the OnePlus 5 will continue to offer a similar build and design like the OnePlus 3/OnePlus 3T. One difference is being the antenna lines that are missing in the render. However, the publication further notes that the image is not the final design, and the final product might look different.

Moreover, OnePlus' forthcoming flagship is expected to feature the latest Snapdragon 835 processor that could be coupled with 6GB RAM and 6GB/128GB internal memory. The front camera of OnePlus 5 is said to be 16MP, same as OnePlus 3T. OnePlus 5 will feature a 5.5-inch screen, however, the resolution is not known at this point, according to Indian Express.

We already know OnePlus is skipping the number '4' in its series since it is considered unlucky in China. After OnePlus 3T that is a mid-cycle upgrade to OnePlus 3, the smartphone maker will directly jump to OnePlus 5. The device with model number A5000 was previously spotted on China Radio Regulation Authority since OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T had model numbers A3000 and A3010 respectively; it confirms that A5000 is most likely OnePlus 5.
