ZTE has announced its latest budget-friendly phone, the ZTE MAX XL. The gadget will be suitable for customers who seek a big-screen mobile with decent specs but with an affordable price.

ZTE's latest model measures a 6-inch IPS display panel with a resolution of 1080p coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory. Like usual, the ZTE MAX XL' internal memory can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).

As a mid-range Smartphone, ZTE MAX XL is only powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 and boasts a 1.4GHz clock speed with an eight-core processor. It's interesting that the battery capacity of this mobile is quite hefty, sporting a 3,990 mAh power that big enough to keep the phone alive for a whole day.

In terms of camera setup, ZTE MAX XL has a pretty good 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front snapper. According to Android Police, this mobile is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device.

ZTE MAX XL runs on Android 7.1 Nougat Operating System out-of-the-box and this is a good news considering the fact that this Smartphone is only a budget phone and in the mid-range level, too. There's no official information, however, whether or not there will be further Android OS update for this gadget.

Looking at the body design, ZTE MAX XL seems a bit similar to Google Nexus 6. It's also quite heavy in the hand, but fans can expect that the responsive and sharp screen will deliver better performance in web browsing and video viewing, as reported by CNET.

Buyers who are interested in getting this handset should be able to purchase one via Sprint's prepaid networks, Boost Mobile, and Virgin starting today. ZTE MAX XL is priced at $130 or $129.99 to be precise with sale $28 off if customers buy it from Boost Mobile.
