PlatinumGames and Square Enix will release an add-on for their "Nier: Automata" next month. The add-on will bring new costumes including three new battle colosseums and the option to fight the presidents of PlatinumGames and Square Enix.
According to Game Spot, "Nier: Automata" 3C3C1D119440927 downloadable content includes costumes for android A2, 9S, and 2B which reference the original Japanese release, "Nier: Replicant." 2B can now dress up as the original Nier's Kaine, while 9S receives a younger Nier costumes along with A2 that acquires an outfit based on the older version of Nier. Cosmetics in the 3C3C1D119440927 DLC features hairspray that let players change 2B and A2's new masks and hair color plus a cosmetic effect for enemy bullets.
As for "Nier: Automata" bullets, the presidents of PlatinumGames and Square Enix Yosuke Matsuda and Kenichi Sate can be fought in the DLC's new colosseum. In addition to the new colosseums, Square Enix promises additional sub-quests that can earn players some of the previously mentioned cosmetic rewards.
According to Gematsu, "Nier: Automata" 3C3C1D119440927 downloadable content will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC game soon, as what has claimed by the company's press release. During a Japanese language live stream last week, Square Enix announced a May 2 release date and $r13.56 price point. However, it's not yet clear whether the same date applies to Europe and North America.
For the meantime, players can check out a batch of screenshots and costumes artwork for "Nier: Automata" 3C3C1D119440927 downloadable content in their in-game gallery. The game's gallery includes a peek at a 2B costume for Gravity Rush 2's Kat that commemorates "Nier: Automata" sales milestone of 1 million copies worldwide.
