Apr 25, 2017 06:35 PM EDT

Korean tech giant LG moved the launch of its LG X Power 2 smartphone to June from the original schedule of March. When it launches, the smartphone would come with a 4,500mAh battery. The phone would first be sold in South Korea for $265 by the top three carriers in the country.

Besides the 4,500mAh battery, the LG X Power 2 runs on an octa-core 1.5GHz chipset. It would have a 5.5-inch HD screen, 13MP/5MP camera combo, and Android Nougat for OS, GSM Arena reports.

The LG X Power 2 would be an improvement from the X Power phone launched by LG in 2016 with a 4,100mAh battery. After its South Korean launch, LG would make the phone available in Latin America U.S., Europe, and Asia. However, LG has yet to announce a launch date for these markets, Liliputing notes.

With its 4,500mAh battery, the owner of the upcoming LG X Power 2 phone could watch for 15 hours or surf the web for 18 hours on a full charge. It would also support high-speed charging technology that would fully charge the battery in two hours or 50 percent in one hour, Android Authority reports. The market of the phone is for gadget users who do not want to charge their devices every day.

The LG X Power 2 joins Yuga Tech's list of smartphones with at least 4,000mAh batteries. The others are the Lenovo S860 which has a 4,000mAh battery, the Lenovo P780 with 4,000mAh battery, the Cherry Mobile Fuze with 4,000mAh battery, the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 LTE with 4,050mAh battery, the Gionee M2 with 4,200mAh battery, the CloudFone Thrill 400qx with 4,450mAh battery, and the CloudFone Thrill 530qx with 4,500mAh battery or the same as the upcoming LG X Power 2.

Besides the 4,500mAh battery, one more feature of the LG X Power 2 that is being talked about in tech circles is its rear camera. The shooter has a zero shutter lag feature which means it takes photos at the same time the button is pressed, XDA Developers reports.
